7. Newsletter and subscription services
Our free newsletter signup is processed by Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC), and our paid newsletter subscription is processed by Stripe, Inc. When you sign up to either, your name and email address (and business name, if provided) are stored and processed by these providers on our behalf, in order to send you the content or manage your subscription and payment.
Mailchimp and Stripe are based in the United States and may store or process your information on servers located outside Australia. Each provider maintains its own privacy and security practices, and by signing up you consent to your information being handled by these providers under their respective privacy policies, in addition to this policy.
You can unsubscribe from the free newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. Paid subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Stripe's subscriber tools or by contacting us.

In some circumstances, we may be unable to provide access (for example, where doing so would affect the privacy of another individual or where legal privilege applies), in which case we will explain our reasons in writing.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact us in writing at hello@moccasystems.com.au. 11. Website analytics, advertising and cookies
For visitors browsing from Australia, non-essential cookies are switched on by default when you first arrive, and stay on unless you choose to decline them through the cookie notice. We consider this consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, given the notice, the ability to decline at any time, and the limited, business-focused nature of the data collected. Visitors browsing from outside Australia start with non-essential cookies switched off, and these are only turned on if you actively accept them. Either way, you can change your choice at any time using the cookie notice or the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer.
Our website uses the following third-party tools, which place cookies or similar technologies on your device:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): collects information about pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived at our website, to help us understand and improve how the site is used.
- Google Ads (Google LLC): measures clicks and conversions from our advertising, and may be used for remarketing, showing our ads to people who have previously visited our website, where enabled.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): records sessions and generates heatmaps of clicks, scrolls, and other interactions on our website, to help us understand how the site is used. Form field inputs are masked and are not captured by Clarity.
- Zoom Scheduler (Zoom Video Communications, Inc.): if you book a call through our website, the booking details you enter, such as your name, email address, and preferred time, are collected and processed by Zoom to schedule and manage that booking.
These providers may store or process your information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Each provider maintains its own privacy and security practices. The overseas handling of newsletter and payment information by Mailchimp and Stripe is set out in section 7.
You can opt out of non-essential cookies in the following ways:
- Using the cookie notice shown when you first visit our website, or the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer, to decline or change your preference at any time
- Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies
- Visiting Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) to manage how Google uses your data for advertising
- Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
Declining non-essential cookies may affect the functionality of some website features, but will not prevent you from browsing our website or submitting an enquiry.
12. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. MOCCA Systems is not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourages you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
